  • Making Money with Online Affiliate Programs

If you’ve done any investigation at all of online marketing, you’ll know scams abound, no matter where you look. Unfortunately, unscrupulous Internet marketers feed on the abundance of people who come online every day looking for ways to quit their jobs. It’s sad, because millions of people probably spend money and lose a lot of time, only to chase down avenues with dead ends. Thankfully, methods abound for making money on the Internet with no up-front investment. This should be good news to those who have been ripped off by Web schemes!

But the line between scam and just an ill-advised business opportunity can sometimes be thin. An example of this is the controversy over an web business opportunity named Site Build It. Some believe that one or more people have written a SBI review that wasn’t entirely accurate. The owner has publicly defended himself and he could be totally right. But it’s up to every individual to do their own research before paying money for Internet “opportunities”.

One of the main ways I like to make money on the Web is above-board and also fairly simple to implement. I make money with no money on HubPages. HubPages — a group blogging site — makes it so easy to create content and generate ad revenue. How many content “hubs” (pages) you create is up to you. Each hub you create can make up to five types of affiliate marketing revenue: Amazon and eBay items, any affiliate marketing program you want to implement, Google AdSense ads and Kontera ads. You get the revenue from 60% of the page views that generate money and the people who own HubPages get 40 percent. Affiliate programs are an exception to that rule though; you get 100% of any income generated by someone clicking on an affiliate link. Creating solid hubs takes a bit of practice but in my opinion, the money you can earn over time makes it worth the effort.

There are many affiliate programs out there but I like to use RevResponse on my hubs, because people who sign up get great free information. When anyone clicks on your links and qualifies to receive free RevResponse publications or white papers, you get paid. It’s that simple. The qualifying part is the catch though, so that aspect is important to understand. To learn more, check out this RevResponse affiliate review. The information in the review will help you know whether the RevResponse program is right for your particular audience.
